ABSENG was founded in 2020 by engineer and project management professional Abhinandan Singh after more than a decade managing complex EPC projects for Marubeni Corporation, Fuji Electric and international JV partners in Kenya and Indonesia.
International contractors entering East Africa consistently faced the same problem: local partners who submitted unsustainably low bids, then recouped margins through post-award variations, leaving the lead contractor exposed financially and reputationally.
ABSENG was built to be the alternative: international delivery standards, genuine FIDIC expertise and an honest commercial model.

Abhinandan Singh
A mechanical engineer and MBA holder (Nottingham Trent, Distinction) with a CMI Level 7 in Strategic Management, Abhinandan brings 14+ years of hands-on EPC delivery experience across geothermal power, industrial construction and infrastructure in Kenya, East Africa and Indonesia.
He has held senior roles within Marubeni Corporation, Toyota Tsusho / CFAO Kenya and Fuji Electric, directly managing projects worth USD 417M+. His expertise forms the technical and commercial backbone of every ABSENG engagement.
